Before you buy: check your phone
An eSIM only works on a phone that supports eSIM and is not locked to a single carrier. Most recent unlocked models qualify — for example iPhone XS and later, Google Pixel 3 and later, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and later. Open your phone settings and look for an "Add eSIM" or "Add data plan" option before purchasing.
Phones bought on contract are often carrier-locked even when the model supports eSIM. If you are not sure, ask your home carrier to confirm your device is unlocked before you buy a plan.

What is an eSIM?

Does my device support eSIM?

How do I install it?
Buy a plan, connect to Wi-Fi, then open the plan in My eSIMs and tap one-click install. You can also scan the QR code or enter the activation details manually. It takes about two minutes.
When does my plan start?
Install before you fly, then turn on the Panmigo line and data roaming after you land. The validity period starts on the first connection to a local network, not at the moment of purchase.
Can I make calls or send texts?
Panmigo plans are data only. They do not include a local phone number, voice minutes or SMS. Calls and messages over the internet — for example WhatsApp or FaceTime — work normally.
Can I share a hotspot?
Yes. Personal hotspot works on all plans at no extra cost. Tethered devices draw from the same data allowance.
What if I change my mind?
A plan that has not been activated can be refunded in full, at any time before its activation deadline — normally 180 days from purchase. Installing the eSIM is not the same as activating it. Once the eSIM connects to a network the plan is in use and is generally no longer refundable. See the Refund Policy for the full terms.
