How it works

Install your eSIM on Wi-Fi before you fly, then switch it on after you land. The whole thing takes about two minutes. Pick your phone below — the steps differ between iPhone and Android.

Before you start

  • Your phone must support eSIM and must not be locked to a single carrier.
  • Install while connected to Wi-Fi — the eSIM is downloaded over the internet.
  • Install before you fly. You do not need to be at your destination yet.
  • Do not delete an eSIM profile once installed; most cannot be reinstalled.

How to install

Three ways to install on iPhone. Wi-Fi required, about two minutes.

One-click installFastest
  1. Connect to Wi-Fi, then open the plan in My eSIMs.
  2. Tap One-Click Install. iOS opens its own Add eSIM sheet.
  3. Tap Continue, then Add eSIM. Keep the app open until the line appears.
  4. Name the line Panmigo and keep your home line as the default voice line.

Requires iOS 17.4 or later. Below that, use QR code or manual entry.

QR code installWorks on iOS 12.1+
  1. On the travelling iPhone, open the Add eSIM screen.Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM
  2. Tap Use QR Code and point the camera at the code on the plan page.
  3. Tap Continue, then Add eSIM.
  4. Name the line Panmigo.

Open the QR code on a second screen or print it. A phone cannot scan its own screen.

Manual entryNo camera needed
  1. Open Add eSIM, tap Use QR Code, then Enter Details Manually.Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM
  2. Paste the SM-DP+ address.consumer.rsp.panmigo.com
  3. Paste the activation code. Leave Confirmation Code empty unless the plan shows one.
  4. Tap Next, then Add eSIM.

Both values are on the plan page under Installation Center. Tap to copy, do not retype.

After you land

Do this after you land, on the iPhone the eSIM is installed on.

Turn on the Panmigo line

  1. Leave the Panmigo line off until you land.
  2. On arrival, open the Panmigo line in Settings.Settings → Cellular → Panmigo
  3. Switch Turn On This Line on, then switch Data Roaming on.
  4. Set Cellular Data to Panmigo. Keep calls and texts on your home line.
  5. No signal after two minutes? Turn Network Selection off and pick the local carrier by hand.

How to install

Three ways to install on Android. Wi-Fi required, about two minutes.

One-click installFastest
  1. Connect to Wi-Fi, then open the plan in My eSIMs.
  2. Tap One-Click Install. Android opens its own SIM download screen.
  3. Tap Download and wait for SIM downloaded.
  4. Turn the Panmigo SIM on when Android asks.

Requires Android 13 or later. On Samsung the system screen is called SIM manager.

QR code installWorks on Android 9+
  1. On the travelling phone, open the SIMs screen and tap Add SIM.Settings → Network & internet → SIMs
  2. Tap Download a SIM instead, then Next.
  3. Point the camera at the code on the plan page, then tap Download.
  4. Turn the Panmigo SIM on when Android asks.

Open the QR code on a second screen or print it. A phone cannot scan its own screen.

Manual entryNo camera needed
  1. Open Download a SIM, then tap Need help? and Enter it manually.Settings → Network & internet → SIMs
  2. Paste the activation code in full.LPA:1$consumer.rsp.panmigo.com$89852310000000000001
  3. Tap Continue, then Download.
  4. Turn the Panmigo SIM on when Android asks.

The value is on the plan page under Installation Center. Tap to copy, do not retype.

After you land

Do this after you land, on the Android phone the eSIM is installed on.

Turn on the Panmigo SIM

  1. Leave the Panmigo SIM off until you land.
  2. On arrival, open the Panmigo SIM in Settings.Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Panmigo
  3. Switch Use SIM on, then switch Roaming on.
  4. Set Mobile data to Panmigo. Leave calls and texts on your home SIM.
  5. Still no service? Turn Airplane mode on and off once, then choose the network by hand.
